Private Online Yoga Sessions

Yoga that’s shaped around you: your body, your energy, and what you need right now.

Every session is one-on-one over video, so I can watch how you move and adjust as we go. You’ll practice at home with simple props like a chair, blocks, a strap, and blankets or pillows. No experience is needed, and no flexibility is required.

Sessions may be a good fit if you:

  • are dealing with back, neck, or shoulder discomfort and want to move with more confidence
  • are in treatment for cancer or recovering from it and want a gentle, supportive practice
  • feel stressed, tired, or overwhelmed and need deep rest
  • are new to yoga, or returning after a break or an injury
  • want help building balance, strength, and stability
  • would like to explore breathwork, meditation, or mantra

What a session looks like
We begin by checking in on how you’re feeling that day. Then we move through a practice designed for you, which might include gentle movement, strength and balance work, restorative poses, breathing, and meditation. We finish with deep relaxation. Afterward, I can send a short written practice to use between sessions.

My approach
I’ve taught for 18 years and hold a 500-hour advanced teacher certification. My training includes restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater, adapting yoga for special populations and common conditions, yoga for cancer survivors, and Reiki. I co-wrote a course on teaching yoga to cancer survivors, and I help train new yoga teachers. My teaching is grounded in anatomy, gentle on the body, and always adapted to the person in front of me.

Details

Yoga is not a substitute for medical care. If you have a health condition, please check with your doctor before starting. I’ll ask a few questions before our first session so I can keep your practice safe and appropriate.
